What is Ahrefs Site Explorer ?

Backlink Profile Your backlink

profile lists all of your website’s links on the Internet, both internal and external. Site Explorer provides you with a report that shows you:
  • Referring pages; 
  • DR (Domain Authority) and UR (URL Authority) ratings; 
  • And from where the referring page links to your website.
This is a great tool to get a general overview of how your website is made up of links:
  • Backlinks: New, lost and broken
The site explorer will list all the backlinks on your website categorized by new backlinks , lost links and broken links. So you can see broken or lost links pointing to your website so you can fix them as soon as possible. Once you have detected them, then all you need to do is contact the owners of the affected websites to resolve the problem. This allows you to avoid low quality links and to have a profile convincing enough to gain authority in the eyes of search engines.
  • Referring, new and lost domains
In the links report provided by the explorer, you can see all the domains that have a link, of a certain type, to your website.  The idea is to allow you to see if there are questionable websites that are linked to you and seek to disavow them.  You can also get an idea of ​​new referring domains by date and lost referring domains by date.
